I don't think I have mentioned this here before but I have ADD (AKA AD/HD ADHD). I think it is the inattentive type. I hyperfocus a lot. But I forget a lot too. My dr wants me to try some ADD meds, but with my baby and with most ADHD meds being classed L3 (meaning they don't know one way or the other if it is ok to do while breastfeeding) I don't really want to try anything until my baby is older. But I decided to try caffeine. It is a drug. But it is easy to get and relatively safe. It seems to be helping a bit. Not 100% but.....
If you don't know what it is like to have add I reccomend this article by dr Hallowell.

I think I am going to sell the tetras. They are just irritating me. I don't know why. I just want them to go live somewhere else. Does anyone want some cardinal tetras?

I got a garden plot in the community garden! I want to plant tomatoes, peppers, basil, corn, cilantro, garlic, onion, I don't know what else. I already have some roma tomatoes started. And some spicey globe basil and pesto basil. I need to till first though but I don't know when I am going to get time with the kids.

A few weeks ago my almost 3 year old was having trouble cleaning up her toys so her daddy helped her. He moved her tricycle to it's corner and she tried to get it back out right away. He told her not to and told her not to move "his bike". She looked at him a bit funny then said very straight forwardly "no, daddy's bike outside." and pointed to his winter-covered motercycle out on the back porch.

Has anyone tried light thearpy? I just got the Verilux HappyLite® Mini Ultra Sunshine Light System Duo on ebay. I haven't been using it long but it seems nice so far. Especilly when we have weeks like this past one where it just rained the whole week and there was no hint of sun at all.

I have been playing Fable 2 recently. It has been a while since I played any rpg so it has been nice. But they released it too soon and it seems to have a lot of bugs. Fortunatly none of them have affected me badly. Mostly it just won't let me buy any furniture. I do wish companies would care more about thier products though.
For Fable 2 they should have worked on the co op stuff more. We got this so my husband and I could play games together, but it is essentially a 1 player game that the 2nd player can 'help' with. Yeah, you can earn gold and xp while being a "henchman" in your friends game, but you can't buy anything or change your appearence etc. The last game my husband and I played together was Halo 3 and while you couldn't change your appearnce we could both pick up our own weapons and were basicly the same in game so it was more fair when we played together. Of course I don't know how that would work with an rpg like Fable.
Does anyone know any good two player games? Prefrably not a first person shooter, but those are ok too. We have wii, xbox and I think my husband has a playstation of some sort.... I also love computer games, especilly since we each get our own screen that way ;)

The female apisto came to the front of the cave today while I was changing the water. She still looks skinny and pale. If I can get enough money I will buy some blackworms for them Saturday.

According to car-safety.org you are not suppost to have your child wear a coat in thier carseat. They reccomend that "You can put a blanket over the child, OUTSIDE the harness straps or put your child's coat on backwards after they are in the seat". How does that really help though? While you are getting them in the carseat they are going to be freezing. Then after you have gotten to your destination you have to remove the blanket or coat and make them cold again while you get them out of the seat. That might work for newborns that are in a bucket style seat you take into the house, but it doesn't help my three year old. It just feels like a lose-lose to me. Freeze my child, or risk safty in case of a crash. :( There has got to be a better solution.
Some suggest starting your car and letting it warm up. I always forget to do this, plus the warm air escapes everytime you open the door, and it keeps escaping the whole time you have the door open while you buckle your child in. The way I do it is to just let her wear her coat in the seat, but then keep it really tight. Which btw is what the AAP reccomends.

I got my Apistogramma Borellii on 11 Oct 2008 at the CCA meeting “mini” auction. A pair, one nice blue and yellow male with a small brownish female. They first spawned for me at the begining of November and the fry came out of the females cave on the 13th of Nov. 3 weeks later all but one of them had been eaten by the tetras :( then that one disappeared.
Today I couldn’t find the female so I went looking for her. She is back in her log cave and looks really skinny. Either she is sick or she just laid eggs, but I didn’t see any. I never got to move them to their own tank. Looking back at the photos from last time she is much thinner now. I wonder if she has been eating enough…. I still haven’t seen the one fry that I thought made it.

I have a 75 gallon fish tank that has only fish from South America in it. I also try to keep the plants only South American too, but that is harder.
I have only had this tank about a year (since Jan 25 2008). But it has had a lot going on with it in that year. I joined the CCA in February 2008.
Here is what I currently have in it:
Fish: 1 Chaetostoma sp. probably L187b? 3 "san juan" cory (Corydoras bilineatus?) 2 Apistogramma Borellii "Opal" 3 Corydoras reticulatus 12 Cardinal Tetras and 5 angelfish (gold marble and marble) in a quarintine tank ready to go to the main tank any day now.
Plants: Microsorum pteropus - java fern Anubias barteri 'nana?' Sagittaria subulata - dwarf sag Echinodorus osiris X E. barthii - red melon sword E. schlueteri 'Leopard' X E. barthii - E. ozelot sword E. barthii X E. uruguayensis -E. Kliner bar sword C. helferi or E. uraguayensis or some other tall skinny Echinodorus... E. quadricostatus-broad leaf chain sword

How do you start a blog? I am not much into introductions since I feel like you can learn more about a person by just reading what they write. I never post in the 'intro' section of a forum unless I have to. Maybe I am werid like that......
